More information: The “Il Piccolo Villaggio” holiday farm is located in the heart of the upper Maremma Toscana, at the foot of the hills dominated by the medieval village of Scarlino. This facility is the result of a careful restoration of a large country farmhouse and offers its guests a very relaxing atmosphere. The apartments on the farm are tastefully furnished with traditional décor include every modern-day comfort (air-conditioning, heating, satellite television).
You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside of Scarlino in the shade of the portico or you can choose to stay at our large pool complete with umbrellas and chaises lounges.
Six flats are at the disposal of our guests, all of which are well-furnished and include two bedrooms as well as a living room with couch-bed and kitchen complete with stove, refrigerator-freezer, oven and dishwasher as well as a large bathroom with shower.
Each flat has double entrance wirh terrace in back (for loadin and unloadin) overlooking the sunflower fields and olive groves while the front entrance overlooks the garden and pool. The front yard is covered and furnished.
The holiday farm also offers its guests a common laundry and ironing room and for those who are more athletic, bicycles are available.
The facility is located in an ideal position not only for those who want to fully enjoy the seashore and nature of this enchanting Maremma, but for those who wish to tour the entire Tuscan region as well.

Florence: one of the cities with the highest amount of works of art in the world. Approximately 150 km away.
Siena: one of the most beautiful cities in Tuscany. Its Piazza del Campo is renowned for the Palio race. Approximately 80 km away.
Pisa: famous for its Leaning Tower, the Cathedral and Baptistry in its marvelous Piazza dei Miracoli. conosciuta per la Torre Pendente, il Duomo ed il Battistero della meravigliosa Piazza dei Miracoli. Approximately 12 km away.
San Gimignano: the medieval city with 1000 towers. One of a kind! Only 100 km away.
Suvereto and Campiglia Marittima: both are only about 15 km away, two authentic examples of medieval architecture in the hills dominating the fertile Val di Cornia. The view is wonderful!
Elba island: Italy’s third largest Island can be reached in about an hour ferry ride from Piombino. Romantic bays, crystal clear water and flourishing nature amaze every tourist.
Piombino: developed after the destruction of Etruscan settlement Populonia. Fortified by Pisa in the 14th century. The old town centre is filled with artistic and architectural wonders. Approximately 18 km away.
Massa Marittima: piazza Garibaldi is a magnificent medieval architectural square overlooking the world famous Gothic-Romanesque cathedral. The Girifalco Palio (representation in costume of shooting crossbows). Approximately 20 km away.
